About the Role

The Behavior Technician (BT) supports 1 to 3 children each, depending on the needs of the children and their placement in either the social group (more children) or high support group (fewer children). This role involves collecting and analyzing data on client progress and providing direct client interaction and support.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Behavior Technician at Agape ABA Services, you will be at the forefront of implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting our clients’ progress.

Essential Functions:
Direct Implementation
Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision.
Provide direct client interaction and support.
Use ABA techniques to promote positive behavior changes.

Data Collection
Collect and analyze data on client progress.
Maintain accurate and detailed records.
Report findings to the supervising clinician.

Client Support
Assist clients in developing new skills.
Provide support during challenging behaviors.
Foster a positive and encouraging environment.

Training and Development
Participate in training and professional development activities.
Stay updated with the latest ABA techniques and practices.
Seek feedback and continuously improve skills.

Collaboration
Work closely with Senior Behavior Technicians and Clinical Supervisors.
Participate in team meetings and case discussions.
Communicate effectively with team members and families.

Ethical Practice
Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices.
Maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
Report any concerns to the supervising clinician.

Flexibility
Adapt to flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
Be available for make-up sessions and additional training.
Support the growth and success of the company.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain.

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.

Strong observational and analytical skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
