About the Role
As a Senior Behavior Technician at Agape ABA Services, you will mentor and support Behavior Technicians while implementing behavior intervention plans.
Essential Functions:
Supervision and Mentorship
Mentor and support Behavior Technicians.
Provide guidance and feedback on performance.
Conduct training sessions for new staff.
Implementation
Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision.
Collect and analyze data on client progress.
Provide direct client interaction and support.
Data Analysis
Analyze data to assess client progress.
Report findings to the supervising clinician.
Make recommendations for plan adjustments.
Client Interaction
Foster positive relationships with clients and families.
Assist clients in developing new skills.
Provide support during challenging behaviors.
Professional Development
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Stay updated with the latest ABA techniques and practices.
Mentor junior staff in their professional growth.
Collaboration
Work closely with Clinical Supervisors and Behavior Technicians.
Participate in team meetings and case discussions.
Communicate effectively with team members and families.
Compliance
Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices.
Maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
Report any concerns to the supervising clinician.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Behavior Technician.
Knowledge of requirements set forth by BACB regulations.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
